Sena Önal was born in 1999 in Giresun, where she completed her primary, secondary, and high school education. She graduated from the Department of Social Work at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Social Work at the same university. Between 2022 and 2023, she worked at the Giresun Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation as part of the Presidency’s “National Household Visit Project.” Since February 2024, she has been serving as a coordinator at the Family Support Center under the Giresun Governorship. Since 2021, Önal has also been the Academic Unit Coordinator of the International Association for Migration Research and Applications (EpicMigrations).
