Çağrı Emin Şahin graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2015. He has held various positions as technical staff at the Istanbul Public Health Directorate and served as a manager at the Sultangazi Community Health Directorate. He was a board member as a volunteer of Young Doctors of the Earth. He participated in the Ministry of Health’s two-year Field Epidemiology Training Program. He completed his PhD in Public Health with his dissertation titled “Evaluation of the Cost-Effectiveness of Including the HPV Vaccine in the National Immunization Program.”
Since 2018, he has been working part-time as a health consultant for projects carried out by TİGA Health Informatics. Since 2020, he has also been serving as a referee evaluator for youth projects of the National Agency. He has taken part in various humanitarian aid and public health projects abroad. He holds certifications as a first aid instructor and an occupational physician. He is a voluntary managing editor of the Konak Journal of Health and Social Sciences. He also serves on the boards of the Hayat Health and Social Services Foundation, İyilik Health Association, and the Association for International Migration Research and Practices. For his professional career, Dr. Şahin worked as a Public Health Manager at the Department of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases, General Directorate of Public Health, Ministry of Health of Türkiye between 2019 and 2025. As of November 2025, he has been serving as Deputy Director General at the General Directorate of Health Promotion, Ministry of Health of Türkiye.
