Ezgi Özey, born in Çanakkale, completed her master’s degree in Economic Geography at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2016 and her PhD in Geography at the same university in 2023 with her dissertation titled “A Spatial and Temporal Analysis of Erasmus Program Mobility in Turkish Universities.” Between 2013 and 2023, she took part in various projects in fields such as cultural geography, international mobility, and irregular migration, gaining field experience as a researcher and surveyor. Strengthening her knowledge and expertise with teaching experience in education, Özey has been serving since 2024 as the Coordinator of the From Life Unit (Hayatın İçinden) at the International Association for Migration Research and Applications (EpicMigrations).
