Born in Bursa, Selin Bahçalı completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in the Department of Geography at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. She earned her master’s degree in 2015 and completed her PhD in 2023 with a dissertation examining the impact of internal migration to Bursa on general elections. Between 2012 and 2023, she took part in various research projects focusing on internal migration, irregular migration, migration policies, electoral geography, health geography, and data analysis. She is currently working at the General Directorate of Health Promotion, Ministry of Health of Türkiye.
