Academic Unit: The Academic Unit carries out semi-academic and academic studies on migration and refugee issues, presenting the parameters of the field in a clear manner while also producing policies addressing the long-standing reality of migration.
Unit Coordinator: Dr. Çağrı Emin Şahin
Çağrı Emin Şahin graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Istanbul University in 2015. He currently serves in various positions at the Istanbul Public Health Directorate and the Sultangazi Public Health Center. He volunteers as a director at Young Doctors Worldwide. At the same time, he is pursuing his PhD in public health and works as a volunteer editor for Konak Journal of Health and Social Sciences.
Health Unit: The Health Unit conducts semi-academic and academic studies on migration and health, aiming to create awareness and provide information on migrant health.

Law Unit: The Law Unit focuses on migrant rights and legal injustices in the light of human rights and freedoms, producing work on migration and law at both national and international levels.

Hayatın İçinden (From Life): Stories that have maintained their universality throughout history hold an important place within EpicMigrations. Migration, migrants, and the struggles of migrant lives are narrated through real people’s stories.
Unit Coordinator: Meliha Kekeç
Meliha Kekeç was born in Kahramanmaraş. She graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Law, in 2020. During her university years, she volunteered in many social responsibility projects. She founded the Social Awareness Community and served as its chairperson. She also worked as a founding chair at the Selçuk University Solidarity Platform. For nearly four years, she supported integration efforts by bringing together locals and refugees.
Social Media: Through mainstream platforms, the Social Media Unit produces content to raise awareness on migration, migrants, and rights violations, while also supporting integration efforts.
Unit Coordinator: Rumeysa Kıdıl
YouTube: Standing against approaches that reduce migrants solely to drama and tragedy, the YouTube Unit portrays people simply as human beings, producing content that raises awareness and supports integration.
Unit Coordinator: Rumeysa Kıdıl
Bio: Rumeysa Kıdıl was born in Istanbul. She is a student of Social Work at Beykoz University. In 2019, she received training in cinema at an academy supported by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports and continues to develop herself by attending various workshops. In 2020, she began volunteering as an intern at a post-production company and later completed an internship at the World Children’s Association. She currently works as a social media content writer at a marketing agency. Actively engaged in migration and refugee studies, she also serves as the Executive Coordinator of EpicMigrations and leads its social media efforts.
Reports: The Reports Unit produces research, observations, and recommendations on topics such as migration, migrant lives, migration routes, and rights violations.

The unit also conducts studies on migration, migrant integration, and international migration challenges from psychological, sociological, and social perspectives, creating written resources.
